Job summary

GrowBeyond Tech in Bengaluru, India is seeking an experienced Anesthesia & Pain Management Medical Coder to assign CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS Level II codes for anesthesia and interventional pain procedures. You will review operative reports and physician notes to ensure precise code assignment aligned with payer guidelines.

Qualifications

• CPC or CANPC certification required or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on anesthesia and pain management coding for U.S.-based clients.
• Strong understanding of ASA coding, modifiers, time units, and interventional pain procedures.
• Familiarity with EHR and medical billing software like Athena or Epic.

Requirements

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or CANPC (Certified Anesthesia and Pain Management Coder), or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience* coding Anesthesia and Pain Management cases for U.S.-based clients.
• Strong understanding of ASA coding, modifiers, time units, and interventional pain procedures.
• Familiarity with EHR and medical billing software like Athena, Epic, or equivalent platforms.
• Knowledge of NCCI edits, surgical package rules, and documentation standards.
