Job summary

Iris Software is seeking a QA Automation SDET to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber. You will implement API testing with RestAssured and Postman, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.

Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and product teams, you will ensure comprehensive test coverage across web applications and APIs, driving quality improvements in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in QA automation and SDET roles.
• Hands-on with Selenium, TestNG and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong API testing experience using RestAssured and Postman.
• Experience in Java or Python for automation.

Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber.

Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and end-to-end business workflows.

Perform API testing and validation using RestAssured and Postman.

Develop automation solutions using Java or Python following best coding and testing practices.

Review and validate API contracts and specifications using Spec-Kit/OpenAPI standards.

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality assurance.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.

Identify, track, and report defects while ensuring complete test coverage across applications.

Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and support root cause analysis for quality improvements.

Drive test automation strategy, framework enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives in Agile environments.
