Job summary

Shashwath Solution in Pune is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design and build robust automation frameworks for web, mobile, and OTT applications. You will leverage Java, Appium, WebdriverIO and Karate to drive test automation across the stack, mentor teammates, and ensure high-quality releases.

You will collaborate with developers and QA to define test strategies, evaluate new tools, and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, TeamCity and Gradle.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and developing automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency in Java and its ecosystems (IDEs, frameworks, libraries).
• Familiarity with Karate, WebdriverIO and JUnit.
• Hands-on with mobile automation using Appium and JavaScript.
• Experience automating web, mobile and OTT apps.
• Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions.
• Strong CI/CD experience (Jenkins, TeamCity, Gradle).
• Familiarity with open source tools and frameworks.
• Experience in code reviews and functional reviews.
• Experience evaluating frameworks and tools.
• Understanding of QA methodologies and lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Docker containerization.
• Experience mentoring and guiding teams.
• Experience developing high-quality test automation strategies and plans.
• Experience in test automation planning and estimation.
