A US-based IT service company is hiring for its offshore team in Bangalore.

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong skills in test automation and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience testing APIs and cloud-based applications and will work closely with developers in Agile teams to deliver reliable and high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with developers in Agile teams to deliver reliable and high-quality software.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and automated performance tests.
• Perform API integration testing.
• Conduct performance/load testing with tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner or similar.
• Identify risks from business requirements and design test scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality objectives.

Technical Skills

• 5‑7+ years of experience in test automation with technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber or BDD equivalents.
• Hands‑on experience implementing test automation frameworks and performance tests.
• API integration testing experience.
• Performance/load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar).
• Experience with GitHub, Jira, Jenkins.
• Good hands‑on experience with Java, Azure DevOps.
• Experience in identifying test scenarios.
• Manual testing experience.
• Knowledge of user stories analysis.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, including Agile/Scrum.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Information security experience is an added plus.

Other Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or computer-related field.
• Strong client‑interfacing capabilities with US client team.
• Willingness to work US hours (CST with DST) or 2nd shift (3 pm–12 am IST).
• Certifications are an added advantage.
