Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Java Developer (SDE 1) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Java and a passion for building scalable and high-quality applications. You will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain backend services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices
• Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs
• Work with databases and ensure optimal performance of queries
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Java (Core Java, OOP concepts)
• Basic understanding of Spring Boot / Spring Framework
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Understanding of Git version control
• Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA
