Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our client's engineering team and build reliable, scalable, and high-performance applications. You will work closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain backend systems and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Java-based frameworks
• Build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Troubleshoot application issues and improve performance and reliability
• Work with databases and integrate applications with internal and third-party systems
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, QA, and DevOps teams
• Follow software development best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and development standards

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Java
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, or similar Java frameworks
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Understanding of Git and version control
• Knowledge of software design principles and development best practices
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
