Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India is seeking a skilled Java Developer to build and support robust, high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. You will work across the full software development life cycle from design to deployment.

You will design scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices, conduct unit and integration testing, and collaborate with frontend developers and architects to align software with business goals.

Qualifications

• Educational background in CS/Software Engineering or related field.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to build and support robust, high-volume, and low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. You will work across the full software development life cycle from system design and coding to testing, deployment, and maintenance

Key Responsibilities

Application Development: Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code using core Java and enterprise frameworks System.

Design: Design and implement scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

Testing & Debugging: Conduct unit and integration testing (JUnit, TestNG) and resolve production or performance bugs

.Database Management: Work with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) or NoSQL databases to build efficient data layers .Collaboration: Coordinate with frontend developers, product managers, and system architects to align software design with business goals

.Deployment: Assist in deploying application releases to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) using container tools like Docker and Kubernet

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

.Core Skills: Strong proficiency in Java, object-oriented design patterns, and data structures

.Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate

JPA .Databases & Tools: Good knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and build tools like Maven or Gradle
