Ideal candidates have 6–8 years of hands-on full-stack experience, deep knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, React/Next.js, and databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

SDE 3 – Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer (SDE 3) to architect, build, and scale high-performance applications across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in system design, a strong product-first mindset, and the ability to drive technical strategy. As a senior technical leader on the team, you will not only own critical pieces of our infrastructure but also spearhead the adoption of AI-assisted engineering workflows and agentic AI systems to multiply team velocity. Candidates from Tier-1 engineering colleges will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Development: Architect, develop, and maintain highly scalable and resilient web applications using modern full-stack technologies.
• Technical Leadership: Design and enforce patterns for clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend components and backend services.
• Complex Integrations: Design complex API ecosystems, orchestrate seamless integrations with third-party services, and manage external platform communications.
• Scale & Performance: Architect and scale real-time systems, asynchronous workflows, time-series data handling, and high-throughput applications. Optimize core infrastructure for performance, reliability, and security.
• Mentorship & Standards: Mentor junior engineers (SDE 1 & 2), lead code reviews, drive architecture discussions, and establish rigorous engineering best practices across the team.
• AI-Augmented Engineering: Champion the integration of Large Language Models and AI-assisted development tools into the team's workflow. Augment code architecture, train team members on effective prompt engineering, and leverage agentic AI to drastically improve engineering productivity and delivery velocity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering leadership to translate complex business requirements into robust technical roadmaps and rapidly ship high-quality features.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development, with a proven track record of designing scalable systems.
• Strong proficiency in:

• Expert understanding of SQL, advanced database design, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Deep understanding of system design, distributed systems fundamentals, and modern web application architecture (REST, microservices, etc.).
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, and real-time data flow.
• Advanced proficiency with Git, version control systems, and collaborative development workflows.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong computer science fundamentals.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership product environment and independently drive projects from conception to production.

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates from Tier-1 engineering colleges preferred.
• Extensive experience architecting, building, and deploying production-grade applications at scale.
• Experience championing AI coding assistants, agentic AI workflows, or AI-native development tools in production environments.
• Demonstrated experience delivering measurable production outcomes and improving team velocity using agentic AI systems/tools will be strongly preferred.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of React Native mobile app development is a plus.
• Experience working in fast-paced startups or high-growth engineering teams is preferred.
