Job summary

Angel One in Bengaluru is building a scalable fintech platform that aims to empower Indians to invest simply and intelligently.

We are hiring senior backend engineers with 5-8 years of experience to design distributed architectures, implement APIs in Java/Python/Golang, and mentor fellow engineers in a fast-moving team. Emphasis on low latency, high throughput and 12-factor app discipline.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science with strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Hands-on programming experience and ability to write production-grade code.
• Experience with backend languages like Java, Python or Golang.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on coding for complex paths/components.
• Contribute to design and architecture of product components.
• Craft APIs, RPCs and scalable streaming/topologies.
• Mentor engineers in the team.

What you will do:

• Hands-on coding - code the hairiest most complicated paths/components
• Contribute to the design and architecture of components for the products.
• Craft APIs, RPCs and streamlining topologies which are simple, and efficient
• Mentor engineers in the team

Who you are:

• Degree in computer science field with 5-8 years of experience building large scalable systems
• Excellent computer science including data structures and algorithms. Hands-on programming
• experience in languages like Java, Python or Golang for backend roles.
• Good understanding of designing Distributed Systems
• Problem solving / analytical skills
• Low Latency and High Throughput System design, HLD and LLD.
• Exposure to high level hygiene guidelines like the one
• described in 12-factor app metrics obsession
