Job summary

Cognisol in Mumbai – Andheri East is seeking a skilled software engineer to own features end-to-end, from design to deployment and monitoring on AWS. You will work across a Java/Spring Boot backend and a React frontend, ensuring reliability for enterprise invoicing and payments platforms.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot and REST API design.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis and Kafka in production systems.
• Proficiency with React.js and modern frontend practices.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and system design.
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda) and with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Role Overview

Joins the engineering team working across a Java/Spring Boot backend and a React frontend, building and owning product features end to end — from design discussion through to deployment and monitoring on AWS — in close collaboration with product and design. The platform processes invoices, payments and reconciliation for large enterprises, so correctness and reliability matter as much as delivery speed. A significant share of the code is authored with AI coding agents, and engineers are expected to use them well while remaining fully accountable for what ships.
