Job summary

Kirana Club Pte Ltd is seeking developers to design and deliver complete features across the stack, from database schema to UI. You will release changes multiple times weekly and own frontend work, ensuring robust loading, empty and error states.

You will investigate production issues with logs and traces, create targeted tests, and participate actively in code reviews with peers. We value individuals who ship real features used by customers, diagnose failures methodically, and communicate

Qualifications

• 1–8 years of full-time development experience.
• Deep command of at least one programming language.
• Practical understanding of SQL and relational data modeling.
• Ability to build functional, visually appropriate user interfaces for your own work.
• Track record of shipping production features or meaningful contributions that passed code review.
• Instinct for diagnosing failures methodically and forming hypotheses before fixes.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants and understanding what each line does.

• Design and deliver complete features from database schema through API to user interface, handling each layer of the stack


• Release changes to production multiple times weekly, progressing from small incremental updates to substantial feature work


• Investigate production failures using logs, traces and stack traces to identify underlying causes, not just surface fixes


• Own frontend development for your features, ensuring clean design, proper handling of loading states, empty states and error states throughout


• Create tests targeted at the specific failures you anticipate, not just for coverage


• Engage in code review as both reviewer and reviewee, learning to give and receive substantive feedback


• Raise questions early in the process; extended silent struggle is the primary pitfall to avoid

What we're looking for:

• Between 1 and 8 years of full-time development experience


• Deep command of at least one programming language


• Practical understanding of SQL and how to model data relationally


• Ability to build functional, visually appropriate user interfaces for your own work


• Track record of completing real work with genuine users — shipped production features, meaningful internship contributions, or open-source changes that passed code review


• Instinct for diagnosing failures methodically, forming hypotheses before trying fixes


• Familiarity with AI coding assistants, paired with the ability to articulate what each line does
