Job summary

LimeChat is seeking a backend-focused developer to build and maintain our core backend systems in Bengaluru. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment, ensuring scalable, reliable services for our messaging platform.

Ideal candidates will have strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms, and hands-on experience with at least one backend language (Python/Java/Go/Node.js), relational databases, and REST API design.

Qualifications

• Experience with at least one backend language such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
• Familiarity with relational databases and REST API design.

About the role

• Your work involves debugging production issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring system reliability

• Building features for our core messaging and communication infrastructure
• Collaborating with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Reviewing code from teammates and providing constructive feedback
