Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Supply Chain Lead (FDE) with 9–12 years of experience to join the Digital Supply Chain team.

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web apps spanning front-end and back-end layers, collaborating with stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions for business value and enhanced user experiences.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of hands-on experience in full-stack application development.
• Experience in back-end development using Node.js, .NET Core, Java Spring Boot, or Python.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API integration patterns.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience in development of responsive UI components for AI/RAG based applications.
• Ability to work with data engineers, data scientists, and UX designers to integrate AI frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong OO design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

The opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced Supply Chain Lead (FDE) with 9-12 years of experience to join our growing Digital Supply Chain Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications across both front-end and back-end layers. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions that drive business value and enhance user experiences.

Your key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Develop robust server-side applications, APIs, and microservices using technologies such as Node.js, .NET, Java, or Python.
• Design and optimize relational and non-relational databases to ensure performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Integrate applications with internal and external systems through RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement security, performance optimization, and monitoring practices across the application landscape.
• Contribute to CI/CD implementation, DevOps practices, and cloud-native development initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers and support knowledge-sharing across teams.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 6-10 years of hands‑on experience in full-stack application development.
• Experience in back-end development using one or more technologies such as Node.js, .NET Core, Java Spring Boot, or Python.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API integration patterns.
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience in development of Responsive UI components for Agentic AI / RAG based applications
• Should be able to Work back with data engineers, data scientists, and UX designers to integrate LLM and agentic frameworks (like LangChain or FastAPI backends)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to serverless architectures and event-driven application design.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar deployment tools.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and test-driven development practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
• Exposure to AI-enabled development tools and modern engineering productivity practices.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to technical standards and reusable frameworks.
