Job summary

Birlasoft in Bengaluru is seeking a Scrum Master with DevSecOps expertise to lead agile delivery and governance for complex enterprise initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive backlog refinement, and ensure security-driven automation across modern platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Product Owners and DevSecOps engineers, leveraging GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and cloud services to achieve reliable, scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience as Scrum Master in enterprise projects.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tooling.
• Wamiliarity with agile methodologies and JIRA workflows.

Responsibilities

• 20–25% Team Oversight & Coordination: provide team oversight and coordination, ensuring alignment, timely delivery, resource utilization, and adherence to objectives.
• Agile & JIRA: manage JIRA in line with Agile practices, including backlog management, sprint planning, refinement, progress tracking, sprint reviews, and governance.
• Proactive Approach: identify risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities and drive them to resolution.
• Strong Technical Expertise: provide technical support across DevSecOps domains with SLA compliance, zero P1 incidents, proactive issue resolution, and continuous service improvement.
• DevSecOps Platform Engineering: design, implement, and govern enterprise DevSecOps platforms leveraging GitHub Enterprise, GHAS, GitHub Copilot Governance, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Artifact Management, Terraform, Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Entra B2B/B2C/External Identities.
• Team Coordination: act as the primary liaison between Product Owner and DevSecOps team for collaboration, delivery, and support.
• Chapter Time – Knowledge & Practice Sharing (10%): dedicate 10% of capacity to knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Value-Added Contribution: drive DevSecOps standardization, automation, governance, and platform optimization for security, DevEx, efficiency, scalability, and quality.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and business audiences.
