Scrum Master – Jira Governance & Engineering Operations

We are hiring a Scrum Master with a strong interest in Jira-based project tracking, agile process optimization, and operational reporting. This role will play a key part in establishing structured workflows, driving visibility across the engineering team, and ensuring tool governance at scale.

You’ll work closely with the CTO and tech leads to improve how engineering work is tracked, measured, and reported. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s comfortable working with agile tools, understands the value of structure, and wants to help build operational excellence from the inside.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in defining and standardizing agile workflows in Jira (Epics, Stories, Tasks, Subtasks).

· Maintain and update Jira configurations including fields, boards, filters, dashboards, and reports.

· Create and manage dashboards and daily reports that track engineering progress, timelines, and work hours.

· Support sprint tracking and backlog hygiene in coordination with team leads.

· Ensure that the tooling supports internal compliance and governance needs.

· Coordinate across teams to identify process improvements within Jira and agile practices.

· Collaborate with leadership to provide insights on team performance, issue tracking, and sprint health.

Requirements

· 2–5 years of experience working in an agile team, preferably with Jira or similar tools.

· Comfortable creating dashboards, reports, and workflows in Jira.

· Good understanding of agile concepts like sprints, backlog, epics, and user stories.

· Ability to work with multiple teams and follow through on Jira processes.

· Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.

· Eagerness to take ownership of tools and internal process improvement.

Nice to Have

· Jira Administrator or Scrum Master certifications.

· Experience with Excel, Power BI, or other reporting tools.

· Exposure to ITGC, audit, or compliance-related environment
