Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years on automation projects

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile ceremonies for automation projects including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
• Coach teams on Agile principles and continuous improvement
• Remove impediments and ensure smooth team progress
• Facilitate communication between team members, Product Owners and stakeholders
• Monitor sprint progress, risks, and delivery timelines

Scrum Master – Automation Projects - Min 6 years of experience

The Scrum Master serves as an Agile facilitator and Project Co-ordinator, dedicated to empowering cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results effectively and consistently. This role seeks a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in automation projects, preferably with hands-on experience in UiPath or similar automation tools. This role combines the responsibilities of a Scrum Master with elements of a Project Coordinator, requiring the individual to not only facilitate Agile practices but also assist the Project Manager/Delivery Manager in managing project delivery. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enabling teams to deliver high-quality automation solutions while ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Agile Facilitation:
  • Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for automation projects.
  • Coach teams on Agile principles and practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Remove impediments and roadblocks to ensure smooth team progress.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Act as a servant leader, supporting the development team in achieving their goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication between team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
  • Promote transparency and alignment across all project activities.
• Delivery Oversight:
  • Monitor sprint progress, team performance, and key metrics to ensure timely delivery of automation solutions.
  • Identify risks and dependencies and work proactively to mitigate them.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile best practices and processes.
• Support Project Management:
  • Assist the Project Manager/Delivery Manager in planning, tracking, and managing project deliverables, timelines, and resources.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and milestones.
  • Maintain project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and action plans.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication of project status and deliverables.
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency in project execution.
  • Collaborate with teams to reduce time gaps between development and testing phases to meet project timelines and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Technical Focus:
  • Work closely with teams involved in automation projects and ensure that automation solutions align with business objectives and technical standards.
  • Support compliance with code review processes and ensure peer reviews are conducted before moving code to production.

In line with the prescribed guidelines, the candidate will also need to meet the following criteria

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years of experience working on automation projects.
  • Hands‑on experience with UiPath or similar RPA tools is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in project coordination, including planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Agile Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and their application in software development and automation projects.
  • Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with automation technologies, RPA, and AI‑driven solutions.
  • Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its integration with Agile practices.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Certifications (Preferred):
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or other relevant Agile certifications.
  • PMP/Prince or any other relevant Project Management certifications.
