NTT DATA in Pune, Maharashtra, India seeks an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery across Salesforce and enterprise programs. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, coach teams and ensure predictable delivery in collaboration with Product Owners, QA, developers and architects.

The role focuses on improving team effectiveness, maintaining backlogs, and guiding teams toward high-quality, on-time outcomes in a globally distributed environment.

Competenze

• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years as Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, sprint planning, backlog management and release planning.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, architects, analysts and product owners.

We are currently seeking a Scrum Master to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery across Salesforce and enterprise application programs. The candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, improving team effectiveness, and ensuring consistent delivery practices across cross-functional teams.

The Scrum Master will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA teams, Architects, and other stakeholders to enable predictable and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including:
  • Daily Stand-ups
  • Sprint Planning
  • Backlog Refinement
  • Sprint Reviews / Demos
  • Sprint Retrospectives
• Support the Product Owner and team in maintaining a healthy, prioritized, and actionable backlog.
• Help the team define realistic sprint goals and commitments based on capacity and dependencies.
• Track sprint progress, delivery commitments, blockers, risks, and dependencies.
• Identify and remove impediments that affect team productivity or delivery.
• Promote Agile best practices and help the team continuously improve its ways of working.
• Coach team members on Scrum principles, Agile practices, ownership, collaboration, and self-organization.
• Monitor delivery metrics such as:
  • Velocity
  • Burndown / Burnup
  • Sprint predictability
  • Carryover
  • Defect trends
  • Cycle time
• Support release planning and coordination across development, QA, business, and deployment teams.
• Facilitate dependency management across multiple teams, applications, and workstreams.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, QA leads, and Technical Leads to resolve delivery issues.
• Ensure risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are identified and tracked.
• Support resolution of team conflicts and encourage effective collaboration.
• Ensure Agile ceremonies are focused, efficient, and outcome-oriented.
• Support continuous improvement actions identified during retrospectives.
• Provide regular delivery status and metrics to project and program leadership.
• Help ensure appropriate usage of tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or equivalent Agile delivery platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Scrum
  • Agile principles
  • Sprint planning
  • Backlog management
  • Estimation
  • Retrospectives
  • Release planning
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, architects, business analysts, and product owners.
• Experience managing risks, dependencies, impediments, and delivery commitments.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to coach teams and improve Agile maturity.
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery metrics and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams.

Good to Have

• Experience supporting Salesforce implementation or transformation programs.
• Understanding of Salesforce delivery lifecycle, environments, releases, and deployment dependencies.
• Experience working in large enterprise or multi-vendor programs.
• Experience coordinating multiple Scrum teams or scaled Agile environments.
• Familiarity with SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks.
• Certifications such as:
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • SAFe Scrum Master
  • PMI-ACP

Experience

Typically 10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 3+ years in a Scrum Master or Agile delivery role.
