Job summary

New Vision Softcom & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Agile Coach to promote agile best practices across teams, aligning with business goals and delivering value.

You will coach scrum teams, facilitate ceremonies, manage Azure Boards, and support Product Owners, with a focus on relentless improvement and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
• One or more agile certifications preferred (e.g., CSM, CSPO, CSP, PSM, PSPO, SAFe).
• WD Integrations experience with SAFe Agile is a plus.
• 1-3 years of iterative or agile-like development experience.
• Experience interacting with senior management and clients.
• Demonstrated experience with meeting facilitation and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Coach agile best practices to scrum team.
• Be a servant leader to the scrum team; address concerns, clear blockers, facilitate ceremonies.
• Ensure team alignment with product/sprint goals.
• Manage Azure Boards and track day-to-day activities.
• Radiate information to Product Owners, Project Managers, and Leadership; escalate risks and communicate velocity.
• Support Product Owners with Release Plans and Sprint Objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Act as an effective change agent, promoting agile best practices to teams focusing on alignment with business, relentless improvement and delivering value. This individual will support agile teams while delivering software to our stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• C Coach agile best practices to scrum team. Continuously ensure agile best practices are being followed.
• Be a servant leader to the scrum team.
  • Addressing any concerns
  • Clearing any blockers
  • Facilitate agile meetings/ceremonies for teams. Ensuring purposes are met, effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure team is always aligned with product/sprint goals
• Manage Azure Boards, ensuring teams day-to-day activities are being tracked appropriately.
• Radiate information from scrum team to product stakeholders (Product Owner, Project Managers, and Leadership)
  • Escalating product risks, issues and blockers
  • Communicate team velocity
  • Create and communicate metrics
• Support Product Owners. Ensuring team clearly understands:
  • Release Plan
  • Sprint Objectives
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree
• or equivalent experience required.
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
• One or more agile certifications preferred (e.g., CSM, CSPO, CSP, PSM, PSPO, SAFe).

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Knowledgeable about Agile principles and application.
• Capable of bridging the waterfall and agile frameworks as the transition to agile matures in the organization.
• Strong coaching and facilitation skills; adept at problem solving with team to analyze issues and opportunities to improve in working model and align on path forward for action.
• Energetic and skilled at engaging with different team members with different personalities.
• Ability to learn quickly and teach others by showing what worked and what didn't.

EXPERIENCE:

• WD Integrations (Studio, Extend, EIB)
  • Agile experience (preferably in saFe Agile)
  • 1-3 years of iterative or agile-like development experience.
• Demonstrated training and change management experience.
• Experience interacting with senior level management.
• Experience interacting with the client.
• Demonstrated experience with meeting facilitation and negotiation.
• Demonstrated experience teaching technical teams basic agile framework concepts.
