Job summary

Biz2X in India is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams and ensure timely, high-quality product delivery. You will coach teams, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and collaborate with product owners and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years in Agile environments, strong facilitation and servant leadership skills, and a FinTech background is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Certified Scrum Master is a plus.
• Proven facilitation of meetings at multiple levels of an organization.
• Strong communication and servant leadership abilities.
• FinTech exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and timelines for each initiative.
• Coordinate sprints, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks and best practices.
• Facilitate internal communication and collaboration across teams.
• Serve as primary contact for external communications with customers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and new requests.
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at sprint ends.
• Guide teams toward higher Scrum maturity and ownership of the product.

Job description

• Manage each project’s scope and timeline.
• Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks.
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration.
• Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders).
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.
• Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.
• Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity.
• Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it.

Qualifications:

• B.Tech/MCA and 6+ years of scrum master role, or 4+ years of project management experience on an Agile Team.
• Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum),or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
• Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques.
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
• Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction.
• Excellent communication and servant leadership skills.
• Scrum master certification is a plus.
• FinTech experience is highly preferred.
