Job summary

The Better India is seeking a Scriptwriter in Mumbai to craft emotionally resonant narratives that sit at the intersection of purpose and branding. You’ll write scripts for branded films, digital shorts, and social content, shaping stories that matter.

You’ll translate brand briefs into human-first storytelling, collaborate with producers, editors, and designers, and contribute to ideation, pitches, and creative strategy while ensuring the voice reflects both TBI and client values.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of writing experience in branded content, journalism, or digital media.
• A portfolio that showcases strong storytelling, especially in visual mediums
• Sharp writing skills and a knack for storytelling that drives emotion and impact
• Ability to write for different formats — reels, short films, long-form video, voiceover
• Passion for stories of change, community, and innovation
