Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a skilled SCOM MP Authoring expert to design and implement monitoring solutions. The role involves collaborating on corporate projects, analyzing existing monitoring setups, and proposing improvements.

Required are strong SCOM expertise, scripting skills (PowerShell, VB, shell), and T-SQL proficiency, with proven experience across SCOM 2007/2012/2016 environments.

Qualifications

• Must-have: SCOM MP authoring expertise.
• Must-have: Proficient in PowerShell, VBScript and shell scripting.
• Must-have: Strong T-SQL knowledge.
• Must-have: Experience in managing SCOM 2007/2012/2016 environments.

Responsibilities

• Assign to corporate projects and design/deliver required monitoring solutions.
• Regularly analyze existing monitoring and suggest changes per best practices.
• Identify gaps in processes and propose improvements.
• Provide expert design, implementation, and support to Critical Projects via Management Pack design, build, and test.
• Create and update documentation as required.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

• 1 Assignment to corporate projects responsible for analysis of the nature of the project, assist in designing and delivering required monitoring solutions.
• 2 Regularly analyze existing monitoring solutions and suggest any recommended changes as per the industry best practices.
• 3 Identify gaps/issues with existing processes and suggest areas of improvement.
• 4 Expert knowledge in designing, implementing, and providing support to Critical Projects through Management Pack (MP) design, build and test.
• 5 Create/update documentation as required.
