Job summary

Freudenberg Gala Household Product Pvt. Ltd. in India seeks a seasoned SCM leader to oversee end-to-end supply chain planning, procurement, inventory, and warehousing.

You will ensure alignment of demand with site capacity, manage supplier relationships, and optimize stock levels with a focus on service, cost, and working capital. The role requires 10–15 years in manufacturing SCM with SAP and advanced Excel proficiency, plus strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, commerce, operations, or related field.
• MBA / PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 10–15 years of manufacturing supply chain experience.
• Experience in plastics, FMCG, consumer products, injection moulding, or packaging industries preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective commercial negotiation and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Supply chain planning. Develop Monthly, Weekly and daily planning to align demand forecast with manufacturing capacities of the site, Suppliers & Job Workers.
• Manage procurement of Plastics resins, Packaging materials, bought out components, consumables and indirect materials. Develop strategic supplier relationships
• Optimise Inventory levels ensuring inventory levels while ensuring high service levels. Monitor inventory projections and implement actions to achieve targeted stock levels and working capital goals.
• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials with FIFO/FEFO compliance, optimal space utilization, full material traceability, with high accuracy.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
• Be SAP Key user for MRP, Production planning and related activities for Adas. Ensure accurate master data, inventory transactions, and planning parameters in SAP systems.
