Job summary

Freudenberg Gala Household Product Pvt. Ltd. in Anand, India is seeking an experienced SCM Manager to lead supply chain planning, procurement, and end-to-end warehouse operations in a fast-moving manufacturing setting.

You will develop monthly, weekly, and daily plans, optimize inventory, manage supplier relationships, and mitigate risks while driving cost efficiency and service levels. A engineering or related degree with 10-15 years in plastics/FMCG supply chains is expected, with SAP and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, commerce, operations, or related field.
• MBA or PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 10-15 years of manufacturing supply chain experience.
• Experience in plastics, FMCG, consumer products, injection moulding, or packaging preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective commercial negotiation and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply chain planning. Develop Monthly, Weekly and daily planning to align demand forecast with manufacturing capacities of the site, Suppliers & Job Workers.
• Manage procurement of Plastics resins, Packaging materials, bought out components, consumables and indirect materials. Develop strategic supplier relationships
• Optimise Inventory levels ensuring inventory levels while ensuring high service levels. Monitor inventory projections and implement actions to achieve targeted stock levels and working capital goals.
• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials with FIFO/FEFO compliance, optimal space utilization, full material traceability, with high accuracy.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
