Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to oversee a range of tasks ensuring high-quality delivery across complex projects. The role focuses on EOT submissions, delay analysis, LD assessment, and coordination with contractors and clients internationally.

The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering background, 15+ years of related experience, and strong English communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders in large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or building

• Education – B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute.
• 15+ years of experience in planning, delay analysis, claims management, and contract administration.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication, with presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review EOT submissions and provide independent recommendations.
• Review baseline/updated schedules, recovery plans, site records, and correspondence.
• Determine delays attributable to contractor, client, consultants or others.
• Evaluate Liquidated Damages applicability and advise on LD.
• Prepare detailed EOT assessment reports for client review.
• Participate in meetings with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.

Job Description

To support the role of Senior Contract Manager, taking responsibility for effectively delivering a range of tasks to high-quality standards

• Review and assess Extension of Time (EOT) submissions received from contractors in accordance with the contract conditions. And provide independent recommendations on EOT claims.
• Review baseline schedules, updated schedules, recovery plans, site records, correspondence, and other supporting documents.
• Determine whether delays are attributable to the contractor, client, consultants or other external factors.
• Evaluate the applicability of Liquidated Damages (LD) and provide recommendations on whether LD should be imposed, waived, or adjusted in accordance with the contract provisions.
• Prepare detailed EOT assessment reports and recommendation notes for client review and approval.
• Participate in meetings with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to discuss delay claims and EOT matters.

Qualifications

• Education – Candidate should be graduated (B.E/B.Tech) in Civil engineering from reputed Institute.
• 15+ years of experience in planning, delay analysis, claims management and contract administration.
• Knowledge of MSP and Primavera.
• Experience in reviewing EOT claims and assessing Liquidated Damages on large construction, infrastructure, industrial, or building projects.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, along with presentation skills and the capability to relate and communicate with people from a variety of diverse backgrounds at all levels of the industry.
• Must have experience in handling cost plus contract, Lump sum contracts, Item rate contracts of higher value (approx 300cr to 1000cr)
• Working knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of construction contracts will be an added advantage.
