Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech (Mechanical, Plastics, Industrial, Production) or Graduate in any discipline.
• 7-12 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, or materials management within a plastic manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of polymer raw materials and supply market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Plant Supply Chain: Monitor supplier delivery performance and lead time adherence.
• Production Planning & Inventory Control: Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily material requirement plans; coordinate with production team; ensure optimum inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods; monitor inventory ageing and initiate corrective actions.
• Logistics & Warehouse Management: Manage inbound/outbound logistics; coordinate transportation, warehousing, and dispatch; track customer deliveries and adherence to schedules.
• ERP & MIS Management: Generate and analyze procurement, inventory, and supply chain reports; maintain transactions in ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; monitor key supply chain metrics and dashboards.
• Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for supply chain efficiency; drive initiatives to reduce inventory carrying costs and logistics expenses.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional with 7-12 years of experience in the casting & automobile industry to manage procurement, production planning, inventory control, vendor management, and logistics operations. The role will ensure timely availability of raw materials, optimized inventory levels, and effective coordination between suppliers, production, and customers to support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Supply Chain

• Monitor supplier delivery performance and lead time adherence.
