Job summary

Yashraj Biotechnology Ltd. is seeking a laboratory technician to assist with mammalian cell culture and routine assays in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform molecular biology techniques, prepare reagents, and maintain accurate records while adhering to SOPs and safety standards. The role supports daily lab operations and requires strong documentation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with mammalian cell culture including maintenance, passaging and cryopreservation.
• Experience with basic cell-based and biochemical assays such as ELISA and cytotoxicity.
• Perform PCR, gel electrophoresis and related molecular biology techniques.
• Prepare reagents, buffers, media, and assay solutions as required.
• Maintain lab notebooks and documentation accurately.

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of materials and equipment.
• Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and quality requirements during experiments.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks and data records in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper sample, reagent and consumable handling and traceability.
• Support day-to-day laboratory operations and equipment readiness.
• Coordinate with team to ensure timely execution of experiments.
• Identify and report deviations, equipment issues or operational concerns.
• Maintain data integrity, documentation accuracy and compliance.

Job description

1. Assist with routine mammalian cell culture, including cell maintenance, passaging, seeding, and cryopreservation.
2. Support the execution of basic cell-based and biochemical assays, including ELISA, cytotoxicity, and related screening assays.
3. Perform PCR, gel electrophoresis, and other basic molecular biology techniques.
4. Prepare reagents, buffers, media, and assay solutions as required.
5. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of laboratory materials and equipment.
6. Follow established SOPs, laboratory safety procedures, and quality requirements during experimental activities.
7. Maintain laboratory notebooks, eLN records, experimental data, and other study documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
8. Ensure proper sample, reagent, and consumable handling and traceability.
9. Support day-to-day laboratory operations, including equipment readiness, consumable availability, and routine laboratory activities.
10. Coordinate with team members to ensure timely execution of experiments and completion of assigned activities.
11. Identify and report any experimental deviations, equipment issues, or operational concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
12. Maintain a high level of data integrity, documentation accuracy, and compliance with laboratory procedures.
