Job summary

Akshar Foundation in Mumbai is seeking a Schools Assistant to support the implementation of the Akshar Education Model in government schools across Mumbai. You will assist teachers in classrooms using worksheets, tablets, and digital content, while helping manage educational resources and devices.

You will coordinate vocational training activities with the Akshar Coordinator and help ensure smooth program execution, with travel across assigned areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation is required.
• Fresher or maximum 1 year of experience.
• Internships and industrial experience will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi and Marathi (spoken, written, and reading).
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support government school teachers in delivering classroom sessions using the Akshar toolkit.
• Manage and maintain educational materials including worksheets, workbooks, and digital devices.
• Assist in coordinating vocational training activities within the school.
