Job summary

Accenture is seeking a S&C Supply Chain, Consultant IMU to help clients reimagine and transform their supply chains with measurable business impact. You will work across sourcing, procurement, and digital supply chain operations, delivering cost optimization and transformation programs for mid-to-large teams in diverse industries.

You will collaborate with clients to understand priorities, drive automation in order processing, WMS and transport, and build lasting relationships while showcasing

Responsibilities

• Implement automation in order processing, warehouse management, and transportation to cut manual errors.
• Drive cost reductions across sourcing, procurement, logistics and warehousing.

• Establish trusted advisor relationships with client leadership through industry insights and cross-functional experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver Sourcing and Procurement transformation projects in the areas of strategic cost reduction, sourcing optimization, procurement transformation, and intelligent procurement by using tools such as Kinaxis, Blue Yonder and O9 Solutions working with mid-to large sized teams.
• Understand the client’s business, priorities and leadership agenda
• Maintain close relationships with clients to understand requirements
• Implementing automation in areas like order processing, warehouse management, and transportation to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
• Reducing costs across all areas of the supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and warehousing
• Gaining real-time visibility into the entire supply chain to identify bottlenecks, track shipments, and respond quickly to disruptions.
• Co-create with the client, articulate transformation, and drive innovation agenda for the client
• Establish self as a trusted advisor with client leadership through an in-depth understanding of the client as well as industry cross-functional experience in digital supply chain planning and procurement
• Build networks at Accenture to bring the best of Accenture to the client
• Design and build assets that distinguish Accenture capabilities to drive additional business

Professional & Technical Skills

• Proven experience across industries like Consumer Goods, Life Sciences, Automotive, Manufacturing with in-depth digital supply chain expertise and handling clients especially in the Indian market
• Demonstrate sustained expertise in cost optimization by leveraging technology to improve efficiency, enhance visibility, and streamline operations across the entire supply chain
• Experience of 8 years in consulting with domestic consulting experience is preferred
• Strong program management skills such as budget management, project planning, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organization skills
• Ability to solve complex business problems and deliver client delight
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Cross-cultural competence with an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
