Job summary

Accenture in India is seeking a S&C Supply Chain Consultant IMU in Mumbai/Delhi/Bangalore to help clients reimagine and transform their supply chains for tomorrow. You will collaborate with leadership to drive efficient, resilient operations and measurable value across functions.

The role focuses on automation, cost reduction, and end-to-end supply chain improvements, leveraging industry insights and digital capabilities to deliver impact for clients and society.

Responsibilities

• Understand the client’s business, priorities and leadership agenda.
• Maintain close relationships with clients to understand requirements.
• Implement automation in areas like order processing, warehouse management, and transportation to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
• Reducing costs across all areas of the supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and warehousing.
• Gaining real-time visibility into the entire supply chain to identify bottlenecks, track shipments, and respond quickly to disruptions.
• Co-create with the client, articulate transformation, and drive innovation agenda for the client.
• Establish self as a trusted advisor with client leadership through an in-depth understanding of the client as well as industry cross-functional experience in digital supply chain planning and procurement.
• Build networks at Accenture to bring the best of Accenture to the client.
• Design and build assets that distinguish Accenture capabilities to drive additional business.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Proven experience across industries like Consumer Goods, Life Sciences, Automotive, Manufacturing with in-depth digital supply chain expertise and handling clients especially in the Indian market
• Demonstrate sustained expertise in cost optimization by leveraging technology to improve efficiency, enhance visibility, and streamline operations across the entire supply chain
• Experience of 8 years in consulting with domestic consulting experience is preferred
• Strong program management skills such as budget management, project planning, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organization skills
• Ability to solve complex business problems and deliver client delight
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Cross-cultural competence with an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
