Job summary

Sintex BAPL Limited in India seeks an SAP FI/CO expert to implement, configure, support, and optimize SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling, ensuring accurate reporting, cost control, statutory compliance, and smooth integration with business processes.

Responsibilities include GL, AP, AR, Asset and Bank Accounting, cost centers and COPA, budgeting and variance analysis, and coordination with MM, SD and PP for seamless postings; also preparing MIS, P&L and balance sheets, plus end-user

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Commerce or equivalent.
• Experience with SAP FI/CO modules and financial processes.
• Ability to interact with multiple business teams and communicate in English/Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain FI/CO processes in SAP.
• Set up GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting and document types.
• Manage COPA, Cost Centers, Internal Orders and Product Costing.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with MM, SD and PP for seamless postings and reconciliation.
• Prepare MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet and statutory reports (GST, TDS).
• Provide user training, UAT support and identify process improvements.

Job Purpose/ Summary

The SAP FICO professional will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, support, and optimization of SAP Financial Accounting (FI. and Controlling (CO. modules to ensure accurate financial reporting, cost control, statutory compliance, and seamless integration with business processes.

Job Description

• SAP FI OperationsConfigure and maintain GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting Manage posting periods, document types, and financial closing activities
• SAP CO & Cost ManagementHandle Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and COPA Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Integration & Process SupportWork closely with MM, SD, and PP teams for seamless transaction flow Manage automatic account determination and reconciliation
• Compliance & ReportingSupport statutory reporting (GST, TDS, audits, financial statements. Generate MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, and management dashboards
• System Support & ImprovementProvide L1/L2 support to users, conduct UAT, and prepare user manuals Identify process improvements and system enhancements

Responsibility

• Configure and manage Financial Accounting FI processes including General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Asset Accounting Bank Accounting and financial closing activities
• Set up and maintain company codes chart of accounts posting periods and document types to ensure accurate financial data management
• Oversee Controlling CO and cost management activities including Cost Centers Profit Centers Internal Orders Product Costing and COPA
• Conduct budgeting variance analysis and profitability reporting to support financial planning and decisionmaking
• Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules such as MM ProcuretoPay SD OrdertoCash and PP handling automatic account determination and realtime postings
• Prepare and analyze financial statements MIS reports balance sheets and PL statements ensuring compliance with GST TDS audit requirements and statutory regulations particularly in Indiabr
• Conduct business process analysis gather business requirements and perform process mapping to enhance system efficiency
• Provide user support through UAT enduser training and issue resolution to ensure smooth system operation and user satisfaction
