Job summary

Satven is seeking an NVH Analyst to join our automotive engineering team in India. The role covers setting up and evaluating NVH simulations at subsystem, trim-body and full vehicle levels, including normal modes, FRF, NTF and transfer path analysis.

You will work on designing countermeasures and correlating simulations with test data. The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of experience and strong fundamentals in vibration theory and mechanics of materials, with hands-on use of Hypermesh, Nastran

Qualifications

• Experience in setting up and evaluating NVH simulations at subsystem, trim body and full vehicle levels.
• Proficient in normal modes, FRF, NTF, Transfer path analysis and optimization studies.
• Ability to propose countermeasures and design changes to reduce NVH.
• Ability to correlate simulations with physical test data.

Job Description:

• Setup, run and evaluate NVH simulations at a subsystem, trim-body and full vehicle level.

• Carryout following NVH simulations: Normal modes, FRF, Noise transfer functions (NTF), Transfer path analysis, optimization studies.

• Need to work on countermeasures / design suggestions.

• Perform correlation studies with physical test data.

• Strong fundamental knowledge of mechanics of material.

• In depth knowledge of vibration and acoustic theory.

• Deep understanding of isolation, damping, stiffness and mass impact on vibration.

• System Analysis Road Shake, Road Noise, Normal Mode (BIW, Trimmed-body), Point Mobility, Static Bending & Torsion.

• Excellent root cause and problem-solving skills in automotive NVH.

• Well-versed in acoustic analysis and understanding of road noise contributions.
