Job summary

Deloitte US-India Offices is seeking a senior SAP developer to design, configure, and enhance SAP workflows for business process automation across procurement, supply chain, and finance. You will build and maintain complex workflow components, develop ABAP solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of overall SAP development experience.
• Minimum 7+ years hands-on SAP Workflow, ABAP, BRF+, OOP ABAP, CDS Views, and OData services experience.
• Strong experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Expertise in Workflow Builder, BOR, and Universal Worklist (UWL).
• Experience delivering workflow solutions across multiple SAP modules.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, UI5, Web Dynpro, and My Inbox applications.
• Experience with SAP BTP services and cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to independently drive design, development, testing, and deployment activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and enhance SAP workflows for automation, approvals, and notifications.
• Develop and maintain workflow components including event linkages, BOR objects, classes, task containers, deadlines, substitutions, and escalations.
• Build workflow user tasks using UI5/Fiori My Inbox, SAP GUI, and Web Dynpro.
• Create workflow templates, BRF+ rules, and inbox optimization logic.
• Develop end-to-end ABAP solutions including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements across procurement, supply chain, and finance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production workflow issues.
• Review functional specs and prepare technical design documents.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure development standards are met.
• Debug and optimize ABAP programs to improve performance and system efficiency.
• Collaborate with BASIS, security, and functional teams for integrated SAP solutions.

• Create workflow templates, business rules (BRF+), rule resolution logic, and inbox optimization solutions.
• Develop end-to-end ABAP solutions including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Work closely with business users to understand requirements and provide solutions across procurement, supply chain, and finance processes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve workflow issues in production environments.
• Review functional specifications and prepare technical design documents.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
