Job summary

Zettamine Labs in Mumbai seeks a senior SAP ABAP developer/technical architect to lead and deliver ABAP developments, Fiori workstreams, and API integrations within SAP ecosystems. The role emphasizes end-to-end product delivery, architecture, and performance optimization.

You will work on S/4HANA projects, develop custom ABAP applications, and design REST/SOAP integrations using Apigee/APIM, while ensuring best practices and independent work execution.

Qualifications

• At least 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP developments, Fiori development, O data services, API services.
• Deep understanding of architectural and technical SAP solutions and experienced as a technical architect.
• Strong knowledge of SAP solution suite and technical architecture and ability to translate business challenges into ERP solutions.
• Experience with REST API platforms using Apigee/APIM; converting SOAP to REST or vice-versa.
• Experience in API layers like security, analytics, throttling, caching, logging.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical architecture analysis, research, design and development of new functionality and integration with key applications under SAP ecosystems.
• Exposure to S/4 HANA and application development best practices.
• Must work independently without supervision.
• Should be well versed in developing Reports, Interfaces, Forms, Enhancements and Dialog Programs.

Role & responsibilities

Knowledge (necessary to perform proficiently in this position)

• At least 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP developments, Fiori development, O data services, API services.
• Deep understanding of architectural and technical SAP solutions and experienced as a technical architect.
• Strong knowledge of SAP solution suite and technical architecture and ability to translate business challenges into ERP solutions.
• Manage Technical architecture analysis, research, design and development of new functionality and integration with key applications and services under SAP ecosystems
• Exposure to S/4 Hana and application development best practices
• Ability to develop custom applications using ABAP
• Understanding and experience in using integration technologies protocols like OData, PI/PO SAP Cloud Platform Integration
• Demonstrate broad ABAP experience in the following areas: Workflow, Object Oriented programming, Classical and Interactive Reporting, BDC, SAP Scripts, (offline/interactive), Enhancement, User Exits, Dialog Programming, Interface/ABAP Proxy programming, LSMW, BSP, Performance Tuning, Function Module development, and Spool programming
• Experience with design and development of REST API platform using Apigee/APIM, converting web services from SOAP to REST or vice-versa.
• Experience in API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization
• Must have hand on experience with SAP to 3rd party systems integration with cross functional knowledge
• Exposure to CAPM will be a plus
• Must work independently without supervision
• Should be well versed in developing Reports, Interfaces, Forms, Enhancements and Dialog Programs and utilize SAP best practices
• Should have expert skills in fixing complex technical issues including Performance issues, Object Oriented Program development and implementing automations and workflows
• Expert debugging and problem analysis skills
• Gather project requirements from end users / SAP Functional consultants for complex SAP ABAP Developments
• Perform Code Reviews, Debugging and localization / resolution of identified / reported issues
• Good communication skills
