Job summary

Applied Materials India in Bangalore is seeking a skilled professional to drive variant configuration modeling within SAP and CRM IPC, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement complex rules and configurations.

You will own production releases across SAP environments, contribute to knowledge management, and mentor teammates on configuration best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with VC modeling and IPC in CRM.
• Ability to configure and write dependency rules for configurable materials with cross-functional integration.
• Understanding of variant configuration product model concepts: classes, characteristics, configuration profiles, tables, variant pricing, functions, dependency nets with constraints, BOM class nodes, preconditions, selection conditions, procedures, and super-bills of material.
• Good knowledge of ECM and Knowledge Base updates.
• Manage production releases of content between SAP environments (ALE).
• Experience with highly complex models.
• Strong communication to work with business SMEs and follow modeling templates.
• Knowledge of integration points between SAP modules including MM, SD, and PP.
• Macro or BI knowledge is an added advantage.
• Experience in training people and process documentation is a plus.

• Translate business needs into VC/configuration specifications.
• Configure and maintain dependency rules for configurable materials.
• Ensure integration across SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and CRM IPC.
• Support production releases across SAP environments (ALE).
• Collaborate with SMEs to apply standard modeling templates and rules.
• Mentor peers on configuration best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Good VC modeling experience as well as IPC in CRM
• Should be able to configure and write dependency rules for complex configurable materials with cross-functional integration.
• Understanding of all aspects of a variant configuration product model including classes, characteristics, configuration profiles, tables, variant pricing, functions, dependency nets with constraints, BOM class nodes, preconditions, selection conditions, procedures, and complex super-bills of material.
• Good knowledge of ECM and Knowledge Base updates
• Manage production releases of content between SAP environments (ALE).
• Should have worked previously on highly complex models.
• Good communication skills since this position require to work closely with business subject matter experts to follow the provided modeling styles and templates without deviation
• Working knowledge of integration points between various SAP modules including material management, Sales and Distribution, and Production Planning.
• Macro or BI knowledge is an added advantage
• Experience in training people and process documentation would be an added advantage
