Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP TM (Transportation Management) to analyze business operations, design optimized processes, and drive the integration of business models with technology. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert (SME) in SAP TM, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current processes, and define future-state solutions that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as SME for SAP TM, providing expertise in transportation planning, execution, freight order management, and charge calculation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Lead workshops and meetings to capture requirements and ensure alignment on solution design.
• Assess existing business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and propose solutions leveraging SAP TM capabilities.
• Provide recommendations and contribute to key decision-making across teams.
• Prepare functional specifications, process maps, and detailed documentation for system enhancements and process changes.
• Partner with technical teams to ensure successful design, testing, and deployment of SAP TM solutions.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry best practices, and project governance frameworks.
• Mentor and guide team members, supporting knowledge sharing and best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP TM Transportation Management (minimum 5 years).
• Proven experience in transportation planning, order management, freight settlement, and charge calculation.
• Proficiency in process mapping, modeling techniques, and documentation of business/system requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and optimize processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (business and technical).
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) and tools (JIRA, MS Project, etc.).

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, LE).
• Experience in global rollout, support, or upgrade projects in SAP TM.
• Understanding of logistics, supply chain, and transportation industry processes.
