Job summary

Neev is seeking a SAP TM Consultant with 3+ years hands-on experience to join our team in Bengaluru. You will implement, configure, and support SAP TM within an S/4HANA environment, optimizing transportation planning, freight orders, carrier selection, and monitoring.

You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs, ensure integration with OTC, P2P, R2R, and Manufacturing, and provide ongoing support and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP TM implementation, configuration, and support.
• Solid understanding of S/4HANA functional areas (OTC, P2P, R2R, Manufacturing) and TM objects.
• Proven ability to author functional specification documents and map data requirements.

Job Title: SAP TM Consultant

Experience Level: Mid-Senior Level (3+ Years)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant with a minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and functional expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP TM solutions within an S/4HANA environment. You will work closely with key business stakeholders to optimize transportation planning, execution, and settlement processes while ensuring seamless integration with core functional areas.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

• Design, configure, and implement SAP TM modules tailored to specific business requirements.
• Customize SAP TM functionalities to optimize transportation planning, freight order management, carrier selection, and monitoring.
• Translate business and solution documentation into technical requirements and write comprehensive functional specifications.
• Determine and map data requirements based on end-to-end process specifications.

Collaboration & Integration

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze complex business processes, and propose best‑practice solutions.
• Ensure smooth integration of SAP TM with other S/4HANA functional modules (e.g., Order to Cash - OTC, Procure to Pay - P2P, Record to Report - R2R, and Manufacturing) as well as external third‑party systems.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide ongoing operational support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance for SAP TM landscapes.
• Stay current with SAP TM innovations, S/4HANA enhancements, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and structured knowledge transfer to end‑users and project teams.

Qualifications & RequirementsTechnical & Functional Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on SAP TM implementation, configuration, and support experience.
• S/4HANA Expertise: Solid understanding of S/4HANA functional areas (OTC, P2P, R2R, Manufacturing) and object structures within TM.
• Functional Documentation: Proven experience in defining data requirements and authoring functional specification documents.
• Core Competencies: Deep understanding of freight order management, carrier selection, routing, and transportation planning execution.
• Software Proficiency: High proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, mapping, and project documentation.

Education & Soft Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate seamlessly within cross‑functional team environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP TM Certification(s) in SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management.
