Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant to lead global SAP Ariba implementations (AGB, SLP/SM, SNC, Fieldglass) from requirements through go-live and support.

The candidate will translate business needs into user stories, coordinate with cross‑functional teams across geographies, ensure quality and compliance, and drive process optimization across the IT landscape.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

SAP Ariba Implementation:

• Proven track record of independently driving global implementations of SAP Ariba, including Downstream, Upstream, Ariba Guided Buying (AGB), Supplier Lifecycle and Performance Management (SLP/SM), Integration (APIs, web services), Commerce Automation, Reporting, Supplier Collaboration (SCC), and other administration-related activities.

Subject Matter Expertise:

• Served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in end-to-end software global development and implementation projects, specifically within SAP SRM 7.2 and above.

SAP Supplier Network Collaboration (SNC):

• In-depth experience with end-to-end implementation and process knowledge of SAP SNC 7.2 and above.

SAP Fieldglass:

• Comprehensive experience with the end-to-end implementation, integration, and process knowledge of SAP Fieldglass.

Additional Systems Knowledge:

• Experience with end-to-end process knowledge of GSRS, SMRS, and Tymetrix.

Requirement Gathering:

• Translate business requirements into user stories and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) in line with approved IT Architecture.

Process Efficiency:

• Provide feedback on the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT Business Partners, Architects, and Tech Leads to refine and elaborate on requirements.

End-to-End Solution Support:

• Understand how IT solutions support business processes end-to-end (E2E).
• Leverage process and IT landscape expertise across sectors, business groups (BG), markets, or functions.

User Story Development:

• Develop user stories and wireframes (covering both functional and system operational requirements), maintain the product backlog, and work closely with clients to resolve ambiguities.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

• Validate solutions against business requirements before UAT and ensure that the solution meets the necessary criteria.
• Validate test plans, functional test cases, and sign-off acceptance of the product.

Issue Escalation:

• Promptly escalation issues affecting product delivery and quality that are beyond the scope of influence.

Quality and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with software quality standards, including regulatory and compliance aspects of the solution.

Operational Support:

• Provide third-line support to ensure seamless business operations when necessary.

Business Process Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for process re-engineering using new IT technologies and industry best practices.

Team Management:

• Manage ITGS, ITD DevOps, and new project teams.
• Prepare solution designs based on project requirements and align with PEPF processes and guidelines.
• Conduct analysis, risk assessment, and IT process redesign.

Stakeholder Support:

• Support the IT Platform Solution Manager and other stakeholders with new project preparation, estimations, and SOW reviews.

Use Case Design:

• Responsible for designing use cases and defining acceptance criteria. Drive business process harmonization.

Testing:

• Lead UAT and test the functionality of implemented solutions.

Technical Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Proficiency in SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and SAP Ariba platforms.

Work Experience:

• Strong experience in Ariba modules, specifically Guided Buying and Procure-to-Order (P2O).
• Experience in Ariba activities including approval processes, master data setup, ITK, policies, forms, supplier management loads, migration of master data, API integration, other administration‑related tasks, and cutover activities. Familiarity with soft and hard freezes.
• Experience in both greenfield and brownfield Ariba implementations specific to market needs.
• Extensive experience with SAP SRM, including classic and stand‑alone scenarios, self‑service, service, and plan‑driven processes.
• Hands‑on experience with SRM organizational structure setup, master data management, approval processes, custom Z programs, and tables. Proficient in IDoc and XML monitoring.
• Completed one or two Ariba P2P implementations and SAP SRM 7.0 implementations.
• Basic ABAP debugging skills to identify and resolve problems.

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a related field.
