Job summary

Arthrex India in Pune is seeking an experienced SAP Solution Manager and Cloud ALM Specialist to manage ChaRM and SAP Cloud ALM transports across development, quality, and production. You will coordinate with global teams across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and North America, and lead CAB meetings to govern change management.

Responsibilities include designing dashboards, optimizing processes, and ensuring successful delivery of SAP changes and releases using SAP Activate methodology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science or similar.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP ALM, ChaRM, and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Hands-on with SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and ChaRM.
• Strong experience with SAP BTP integrations.

SAP Solution Manager and Cloud ALM Specialist

Role Description

• Manage the promotion of Transport Requests (TRs) across SAP environments (Development, Quality, and Production) using SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM) and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Demonstrate strong coordination and collaboration skills while working with global teams across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and North America (NA) regions.
• Lead and facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, ensuring effective communication and governance of change management activities.
• Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards using SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM to support operational and management reporting requirements.
• Possess working knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Experience with BTP services and integration is mandatory.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ChaRM-related transport issues, including downgrade protection conflicts, cross-reference checks, transport dependencies, and other transport management challenges.
• Perform basic ABAP code analysis and troubleshooting to support issue resolution and change implementations.
• Demonstrate proficiency with GitHub, including source code version control, repository management, and collaboration workflows.
• Support functional enhancements, configuration changes, and continuous improvements within SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Jira, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP Signavio to streamline change management, project execution, and business process governance.
• Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of SAP changes, releases, and support activities in accordance with organizational standards and best practices.
• Strong understanding on SAP Production support and New implementation Project Process and Procedures.
• Knowledge about SAP Cloud ALM utilization for S/4 HANA Implementation.
• Apply the SAP Activate methodology across project delivery phases.
• Manage the requirements-to-deployment process in SAP Cloud ALM.
• Provide retrofit and N+1 landscape support.
• Manage release cycles and change-control processes within SAP ChaRM
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Experience with SAP ALM, Change Management and DevOps practices is highly desirable.

Skill Requirements

Primary Skills (Must have skills) :

• SAP Solution Manager 7.2: Strong hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and supporting Business Process Management, Change Request Management (ChaRM), and release management processes.
• SAP Cloud ALM: Proven expertise in leveraging SAP Cloud ALM for Implementation, Transformation, and Operations, including monitoring, change management, testing, and operational support.
• SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP): Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP BTP services, integrations, extensions, and application development concepts.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

• SAP Signavio & SAP Cloud ALM Integration: Knowledge of integrating SAP Signavio with SAP Cloud ALM to support process governance, process mining, and business transformation initiatives.
• Business Process Modeling: Understanding of business processes with the ability to create and maintain BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) diagrams and process documentation.
• Familiarity with process optimization, workflow analysis, and business process management best practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of SAP ALM, Change Management and SAP BTP expertise, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and support digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
