Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies in Hyderabad seeks an experienced SAP Senior Developer to lead SAP development across multiple projects. You will design, develop, test, and maintain SAP solutions, driving implementation activities and guiding Agile teams.

YOU''ll build integrations between SAP and connected applications, collaborate with middleware and functional consultants, engage stakeholders, ensure quality, and support go-live and hypercare while advancing SAP landscape modernization.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years total experience in SAP development.
• Strong ABAP development and debugging skills.
• Experience with SAP APIs, OData and SOAP services.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA applications.
• Good knowledge of CDS-views.
• Understanding of SAP Project Systems (PS), enhancements, APIs, BADIs, and integrations.
• Experience with middleware (e.g., SAP CPI) and API-based integrations.
• Knowledge of project/portfolio management processes.
• Knowledge of SAP CO concepts (settlement rules, timesheets).
• Familiarity with Change Management and Solution Documentation.

Responsibilities

Role: SAP Senior Developer

Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP Development: Actively design, develop, test, and maintain SAP solutions across multiple projects and products. Drive implementation activities and support Agile development teams through sprint planning, code reviews, and technical guidance.
• Technical Solution Implementation: Develop and enhance integrations between SAP and connected applications, ensuring reliable and scalable technical solutions that meet business requirements.
• Technical Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional development teams, middleware teams (e.g., CPI), functional consultants, and external partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Analyze requirements, provide technical recommendations, participate in technical workshops, and maintain effective communication with project teams and business stakeholders.
• Quality & Delivery Management: Ensure high-quality coding standards, timely delivery of project milestones, and effective support during testing, go-live, and hypercare phases.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to technical knowledge sharing, development best practices, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement of the SAP landscape.

Technical Expertise

• Strong SAP ABAP development and debugging skills.
• Experience with SAP APIs, OData services, and SOAP web services.
• Experience developing and supporting SAP S/4HANA applications.
• Good knowledge within CDS-views
• Good understanding of SAP Project Systems (PS), including enhancements, APIs, BADIs, and integrations.
• Experience with middleware technologies and integration platforms (e.g., SAP CPI, API-based integrations).
• Understanding of data structures and business processes in project and portfolio management environments.
• Basic knowledge of SAP CO concepts such as settlement rules, timesheets, and cost allocations.
• Familiarity with Change Management and Solution Documentation.

Additional Knowledge

• Basic understanding of solution architecture principles and integration patterns.
• Exposure to architecture frameworks and design methodologies is beneficial but not required.

• Knowledge of intercompany scenarios and multi-company-code environments is an advantage.
