Job summary

CBS Corporate Business Solutions seeks an SAP Senior Consultant - Logistics (SD/MM/WM) who is fluent in Japanese to lead SAP projects in Sales & Distribution, Material Management and Warehouse Management. The role involves planning, design, configuration, and direct client workshops with potential relocation to Japan.

Candidates should have >=7 years in SAP logistics, strong S/4HANA hands-on experience, and excellent communication for pre-sales and stakeholder coordination across Japan and APAC.

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field.
• Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N2) and English (written and spoken).
• At least 7 years in SD/MM/WM within SAP projects, preferably in Japan.
• Hands-on S/4HANA experience in SD/MM/WM modules and data migration.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP SD/ MM/ WM design and configuration for Sales, Distribution and Warehouse modules.
• Run workshops to assess S/4HANA feasibility and guide clients.
• Drive end-to-end projects in Japan and APAC, including training and hypercare.
• Provide AMS production support, and assist pre-sales in Japan/APAC.

Job Overview

We are looking for SAP Senior Consultant - Logistics (SD/MM/WM) - Japanese Speaker to be working on our Japan projects with the possibility of relocating to Japan.

Position: SAP Senior Consultant - Logistics

Modules: SD/ MM/ WM

Locations: Japan (On-site), Malaysia (Hybrid), India (Hybrid), Indonesia (Remote), Philippines (Remote), Thailand (Remote), Vietnam (Remote)

Working Mode: Flexible working arrangements (hybrid or remote) are available, and relocation to Japan is possible for selected candidates

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the process, functional and technical design in SAP projects for Sales & Distribution/ Material Management/ Warehouse Management module.
• Conduct top-down workshops to advise and direct our clients on S/4HANA feasibility.
• Drive end-to-end project activities within Japan and the Asia-Pacific region (requirements gathering, solution design and configuration, training, testing, cutover and hypercare support).
• AMS - Production support, ticket resolution and implementation of enhancements for continuous improvement.
• Support pre-sales activities (proposals contribution) in Japan and the Asia-Pacific Region.

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

• A degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, any other science topic or business.
• Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N2) and English (verbal and written) is a must.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in the area of Sales & Distribution/ Material Management/ Extended Warehouse Management (preferably in Japan project implementations).
• Hands-on project experience in S/4HANA in SD/ MM/ WM module is a must.
• Deep expertise in SAP MM (Purchasing, Inventory) and WM (Warehouse Management) modules (functionalities and data migration).
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain, Logistics and Inventory Management business processes.
• Experienced in SAP project lifecycle implementation.
• Understanding in integration topics to other modules.
• Good communication, problem solving, teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
