Job summary

Confidential Client in Bengaluru seeks an experienced SAP SD Consultant to lead implementation and support. 8–10 years of SAP SD experience, hands-on SAP S/4HANA, and strong O2C knowledge are required.

You will work with Sales, Finance, and SCM teams, handle integrations (IDoc/API), support UAT and cutovers, and mentor junior staff. Travel to Japan may be required depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years SAP SD experience.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA on at least one full-cycle project.
• End-to-end O2C understanding.
• Sales order processing, pricing procedures, and outputs.
• Delivery, shipping and billing processes knowledge.
• BP and customer master data in S/4HANA.
• SD integration with FI and MM.
• Interfaces (IDoc / API) awareness.
• UAT, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation and support of the SAP SD module.
• Analyze business requirements and propose SAP SD solutions.
• Map client processes to SAP SD configurations.
• Design, customize, configure, and test SAP SD functionalities.
• Identify gaps and propose workarounds.
• Coordinate with business users for issue analysis and resolution.
• Support high-priority issues and transports.
• Prepare functional specs, test cases, and docs.
• Identify opportunities for process simplification and improvement.
• Provide support for new implementations and rollouts.
• Mentor junior team members when required.

Job Description

• 8–10 years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant
• Hands-on experience on SAP S/4HANA (at least one full-cycle project)
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes
• Experience in Sales Order processing, including order types and item categories
• Strong knowledge of Pricing procedures, condition techniques, and outputs
• Experience in Delivery, Shipping, and Billing processes
• Good understanding of Output Management (BRF+ preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Business Partner (BP) and customer master data in S/4HANA
• Experience working with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain business teams
• Strong understanding of SD integration with FI and MM
• Exposure to interfaces and integrations (IDoc / API awareness)
• Experience supporting UAT, business testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization
• Good documentation and communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in S/4HANA migration or business transformation projects
• Knowledge of Credit Management (FSCM) and Returns Management
• Understanding of logistics processes (LE / EWM / TM) from a business perspective
• Experience working in Agile delivery or global rollout projects
• SAP S/4HANA SD Certification is an added advantage
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with Japanese customers is an added advantage
• Willingness for short-term or long-term travel to Japan, based on project needs
