Job summary

Tap Growth ai is seeking an experienced SAP Logistics Functional Consultant based in Bangalore to lead SAP SD and MM functions within S/4HANA projects. You will drive business process improvements, coordinate with ABAP/BTP/CPI teams, and ensure effective integration across logistics modules.

The role requires 8+ years of SAP experience, strong SD/MM knowledge, and hands-on S/4HANA implementation experience, including RICEFW objects and intercompany STO processes.

Qualifications

• Strong MM knowledge.
• Experience in S/4HANA implementation, rollout and support.
• Experience with RICEFW objects.
• Strong integration between SAP SD and MM.

• Ability to coordinate with ABAP, BTP and CPI teams.

What You'll Do:

1. Experience and Skill Requirements

• Overall SAP Experience: Minimum 8 years.
• Primary Skill: SAP SD (Sales and Distribution).
• Secondary Skill: SAP MM (Materials Management).
• Project Experience: Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, and support projects.

2. Technical and Functional Skills

• Strong experience in RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
• Strong understanding of SAP SD and MM integration and cross-functional business processes.
• In-depth knowledge of Intercompany and Intracompany Stock Transport Order (STO) processes, including master data setup, configuration, and relevant movement types.
• Strong knowledge of Subcontracting processes and related inventory movements.
• Good understanding of Inventory Management processes and stock movements.
• Experience collaborating with SAP ABAP, BTP and CPI teams for integration requirements and interface-related developments.

3. Functional Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements through effective discussions with customers and stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed Functional Specifications (FS/FSD) for RICEFW developments.
• Explain functional requirements and business logic clearly to technical teams.
• Coordinate with technical teams throughout development, testing, defect resolution, and implementation.
• Perform functional testing and support integration testing, defect analysis, and issue resolution.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of SAP Logistics solutions.

4. Communication and Stakeholder Management

• Excellent listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills to understand business requirements.
• Strong communication skills to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience working with Japanese stakeholders is an added advantage.

5. Preferred Candidate Profile

A hands-on SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant with strong SAP SD expertise, good SAP MM knowledge, proven experience in S/4HANA implementation and rollout projects, and the ability to independently manage requirements, functional specifications, development coordination, and testing activities.
