Acceleron Solutions in Kolkata, India is seeking an experienced SAP SD Lead to head the Sales and Distribution module within our SAP landscape. You will oversee implementation, customization, and ongoing support to meet business requirements and drive project outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in SAP SD, strong leadership, and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end SAP SD projects, including design, configuration, testing, and integration with MM and FI/CO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP SD implementation, configuration and support.
• Strong SAP SD knowledge: pricing procedures, order management, delivery processing, billing.
• Experience leading SAP SD projects including team management and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency with SAP SD configuration tools and SAP integration technologies (PI/PO, IDoc, RFC).

As an SAP SD Lead, you will be responsible for leading the Sales and Distribution module within our SAP environment. You will oversee the implementation, customization, and maintenance of SAP SD functionalities to meet the organization\'s business requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise in SAP SD, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

• Leadership: Lead a team of SAP SD consultants, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure project success. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.


• Project Management: Manage end-to-end SAP SD projects, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.


• Solution Design: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into SAP SD solutions. Design and implement efficient and scalable solutions that align with best practices and business objectives.


• Configuration and Customization: Configure SAP SD modules to support business processes, including pricing, sales orders, delivery processing, billing, and integration with other SAP modules. Customize SAP functionalities as needed to meet specific business requirements.


• Integration: Collaborate with other SAP module leads (e.g., MM, FI/CO) to ensure seamless integration between SD and other modules. Define and implement integration points and data flows to optimize end-to-end business processes.


• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate SAP SD configurations and customizations. Ensure all system changes meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.


• User Training and Support: Provide training to end-users on SAP SD functionalities and processes. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and enhance user productivity.


• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of SAP SD trends, technologies, and best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the SAP SD landscape.

Knowledge And Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s / Master\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.


• 10+ years of experience in SAP SD module implementation, configuration, and support.


• Strong understanding of SAP SD functionalities, including pricing procedures, order management, delivery processing, billing, and credit management.


• Experience leading SAP SD projects, including team management, project planning, and stakeholder engagement.


• Proficiency in SAP SD configuration tools and techniques. SAP certification is a plus.


• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP ALE/IDoc, SAP RFC).


• Experience in industry-specific SAP SD solutions.


• Understanding of SAP Activate methodology or other SAP implementation methodologies.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners.


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
