Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited in Bengaluru, India, seeks an SAP SD Functional Consultant to support and implement SAP SD and related PP/PM integrations for manufacturing processes.

You will contribute to make-to-order and stock-to-order workflows, handling configurations, master data, and LSMW-based uploads within a global automotive context.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP SD, including rollout, support and configuration.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, MRP, inventory management, and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and craft SAP SD solutions.
• Configure and customize PP/PM integration and related processes.
• Support and implement manufacturing business processes for make-to-order and stock-to-order.
• Work with LSMW and other tools for data upload and migration.

Skills Required:

Should have good exposure to SAP VMS

Should have worked on both implementations and support activities (SD).

Understanding the business process and providing the solution based on the requirement.

Experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment in PP/PM area.

Hands on experience in Manufacturing, MRP (planning), Demand management, Inventory management.

Very conversant with a track record of implementing manufacturing business process supporting make to order and stock to order process.

Hands on experience with Production Planning Master Data, Production Order Types ,Production Order and Process Order Confirmation, Working knowledge of PP/MM/SD integration.

Discrete/Repetitive/Rework execution configuration and process knowledge.

Configuration and customizing as per the best practice of SAP Plant Maintenance

Configuration entire logistic master data: PM Materials, Assembly, Serial Number, BOM, Maintenance Task List, Measuring Point, Counters, PM Work Centers, and Maintenance Plans.

Configuration of Breakdown Process, Corrective Maintenance Process, Performance Based Preventive Maintenance Process, Time Based Preventive Maintenance Process,

Should have knowledge of RICEFW - working knowledge on creation and the use of uploading tools like LSMW's
