Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) in Bengaluru is seeking an SAP specialist with SD, PP/PM and SAP VMS exposure to support manufacturing and logistics processes. The role involves implementation and ongoing support across SD, MM and PP/PM areas.

Candidates should have hands-on configuration experience, knowledge of MRP, inventory management, and BOM data, and familiarity with data upload tools like LSMW for migrations. This position is based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong exposure to SAP SD and SAP PP/PM with manufacturing domain experience.
• Experience in SAP integration with MM and SD modules.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution design and configuration for SAP SD, PP/PM processes.
• Support make-to-order and stock-to-order manufacturing scenarios.
• Implement and validate SAP Plant Maintenance related configurations.
• Work with MRP, inventory management and BOM data in manufacturing contexts.
• Utilize LSMW for data uploads and migrations.

Skills Required:

Should have good exposure to SAP VMS

Should have worked on both implementations and support activities (SD).

Understanding the business process and providing the solution based on the requirement.

Experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment in PP/PM area.

Hands on experience in Manufacturing, MRP (planning), Demand management, Inventory management.

Very conversant with a track record of implementing manufacturing business process supporting make to order and stock to order process.

Hands on experience with Production Planning Master Data, Production Order Types ,Production Order and Process Order Confirmation, Working knowledge of PP/MM/SD integration.

Discrete/Repetitive/Rework execution configuration and process knowledge.

Configuration and customizing as per the best practice of SAP Plant Maintenance

Configuration entire logistic master data: PM Materials, Assembly, Serial Number, BOM, Maintenance Task List, Measuring Point, Counters, PM Work Centers, and Maintenance Plans.

Configuration of Breakdown Process, Corrective Maintenance Process, Performance Based Preventive Maintenance Process, Time Based Preventive Maintenance Process,

Refurbishment Process, External Service Management Process, Calibration Process.

Should have knowledge of RICEFW - working knowledge on creation and the use of uploading tools like LSMW's
