Job summary

Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited seeks an SAP SD specialist to lead SAP SD in ECC and S/4HANA for pharma sales and distribution processes.

The role covers configuration, integration with MM and FI/CO, data migration, UAT, and end-user training to ensure compliant, end-to-end SAP SD workflows.

Qualifications

• SAP SD expertise with ECC/S/4HANA experience.
• Experience in sales and distribution processes for pharma.
• Certification in SAP SD or S/4HANA Sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP SD in ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze pharma SD processes.
• Configure and customize Order Management, Pricing, Billing, and more.
• Ensure compliance with pharma regulations in SAP SD workflows.
• Coordinate with MM, FI/CO, WM for end-to-end processes.
• Support S/4HANA migration and data migration activities.
• Provide user training and create process documentation.
• Work with ABAP developers on reports and enhancements.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• SAP Implementation & Support: Lead and support SAP SD modules in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments, ensuring smooth operations and process efficiency.
• Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and analyze sales and distribution processes specific to the pharmaceutical industry, identifying areas for enhancement.
• Configuration & Customization: Configure SAP SD functionalities, including Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Credit Management, and integration with MM, FI, and WM modules.
• Compliance & Regulatory Support: Ensure adherence to pharma industry regulations within SAP SD workflows.
• Integration with Other Modules: Work closely with SAP MM, PP, QM, and FI/CO consultants to maintain seamless end-to-end processes.
• Master Data Management: Ensure accuracy and consistency of master data related to customers, pricing, and materials in compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards.
• User Training & Documentation: Conduct training sessions for end-users and create process documentation for SAP SD functionalities.
• Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting: Address and resolve issues related to SAP SD processes, providing ongoing support and improvements.
• S/4HANA Migration & Upgrades: Support migration projects from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, including data migration, UAT, and business process transformation.
• Enhancements & Custom Development: Collaborate with ABAP developers for custom reports, user exits, and enhancements to improve SD functionalities.

Preferred candidate profile:

• B.Tech/ M.Tech in Computer Science, or MBA/MCA in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Preferred Industry: Pharma / Hospitality / IT.
• SAP SD certification or S/4HANA Sales certification is an added advantage.
