NEC Software Solutions (India) is seeking an experienced Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes. You will lead functional deliverables across SAP S/4HANA implementations, ECC upgrades, and support engagements.

The role requires deep O2C expertise, strong stakeholder management, and collaboration with ABAP teams and business partners to deliver scalable ERP solutions in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 7–9+ years of SAP SD consulting experience.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA (BP, Fiori UI) and ECC 6.0.
• Led at least one end-to-end S/4HANA/ECC implementation and one upgrade.
• Deep O2C knowledge: sales, third-party, intercompany, consignment, and text determination.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end configuration across Sales Order Processing, Shipping, Billing, and related O2C flows.
• Architect pricing, tax, and GST localization for multiple jurisdictions.
• Migrate to S/4HANA BP and manage data preparation for cutover.
• Coordinate upgrades, testing (UT, SIT, UAT) and hypercare activities.
• Drive system integration with MM, PP, and FICO across modules.
• Prepare functional specs (FSD/FS) for reports, interfaces, and forms.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, business-oriented Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes. In this role leading functional deliverables across full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, ECC enhancement/upgrade projects, and mission-critical support engagements. You will act as the primary functional authority collaborating with key business stakeholders, technical ABAP teams, and plant automation partners to deliver robust, scalable enterprise ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Solution Design & Configuration: Lead end-to-end configuration across Enterprise Structure, Sales Order Processing, Shipping/Delivery, Billing (Standard, Periodic, Milestone, Service), Consignment, and Third-Party Sales flows.
• Pricing & Taxation Architecture: Construct and maintain complex Condition Tables, Access sequences, Condition types, Calculation types, and Custom pricing procedures. Configure and maintain GST and localized tax requirements.
• Master Data & S/4HANA BP: Define Customer Account Groups, Partner Determination Procedures, and lead migration/configuration of S/4HANA Business Partner (BP) customer records.
• Upgrade & Lifecycle Management: Lead functional activities for SAP ECC upgrades (EHP6 to EHP8) and S/4HANA migrations. Perform impact assessments, SAP Best Practice reviews, sandbox testing, cutover planning, and post-go-live hypercare.
• Plant Automation & System Integration: Drive integration touchpoints between SAP SD and third-party systems (e.g. web portals) and ensure cross-module harmony with MM, PP, and FICO.
• Testing & Defect Resolution: Design test strategies and execute Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across DEV/QAS environments; resolve defect tickets efficiently.
• Data Migration & Operational Reporting: Execute legacy data migration using LSMW and standard migration tools. Build custom analytical queries via SQ01/SQ02 and direct table analysis (VBAK, VBAP, LIKP, VBRK) to assist operations and statutory audits.
• RICEFW Functional Specifications: Author detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSD/FS) for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (automated PDF invoice dispatch), and Workflows, coordinate with ABAP developers on logic testing.

Required Qualifications & Technical Competencies

• Experience: 7 to 9+ years of core functional consulting experience in SAP SD across implementation, upgrade, and support lifecycles.
• Platform Mastery: Hands-on expertise with both SAP S/4HANA (Business Partner, Fiori UI) and SAP ECC 6.0
• Project Track Record: Demonstrated leadership in at least 1 end-to-end S/4HANA/ECC implementation and 1 major upgrade/rollout initiative.
• Core O2C Expertise: Deep functional understanding of standard sales cycles, third-party procurement, intercompany sales, consignment, output determination, and text determination.

• Industry Exposure: Prior experience in process-driven domains such as FMCG, Public Sector.
• Certifications: SAP Certification preferred.
