Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. in Gurugram seeks an experienced SAP SD consultant to lead the SD module implementation, from objective setting to integration with other modules. You will supervise a team of consultants, configure pricing and order management, and drive process improvements across the order-to-cash cycle.

The role requires strong techno-functional SAP SD knowledge, stakeholder coordination, and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions within timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met; work with vendors as needed.
• Plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements to stay current with SAP SD functionalities.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, security standards, and access controls within SAP SD.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Module Implementation: Lead the implementation of the SAP SD module by defining project objectives, creating project plans, and coordinating with key stakeholders. Ensure successful integration with other SAP modules and external systems.


• Team Management: Supervise a team of SAP SD consultants, providing guidance, support, and mentoring. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of projects. Conduct performance evaluations and identify skill development opportunities for team members.


• System Configuration: Configure the SAP SD module to meet business requirements. Customize settings related to pricing, order management, delivery scheduling, billing, and customer master data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SD processes with other modules like FI/CO and MM.


• Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within the SAP SD module. Analyze business requirements, propose system enhancements, and implement best practices. Streamline order-to-cash processes and improve customer service levels.


• User Support and Training: Provide support to end-users by troubleshooting issues, resolving system errors, and addressing functional inquiries related to the SAP SD module. Conduct training sessions and develop user documentation to ensure effective utilization of the system.


• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, to achieve project objectives.


• System Upgrades and Enhancements: Stay updated with the latest SAP SD functionalities, releases, and industry trends. Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain system stability and leverage new features.


• Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, security standards, and company policies. Implement appropriate access controls, segregation of duties, and user authorization procedures within the SAP SD module.
