Job summary

Zensar Technologies is seeking an experienced SCM Functional Expert to drive SAP SCM configuration and implementation across MM, PP, and WM/EWM modules in Mumbai. You will translate designs into practical configurations, collaborate with the SCM Architect and business teams, and guide end users through the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong hands-on configuration skills, 9+ years of SAP SCM experience, and familiarity with S/4HANA.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of SAP SCM functional experience across MM, PP, and/or WM/EWM, with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong hands-on configuration skills in procurement, production planning, and/or warehouse management.
• Experience with S/4HANA implementations or conversions is preferred.
• Good understanding of integration points with SD, FI/CO, QM, and PM modules.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP MM, PP, and WM/EWM processes, covering procurement, inventory, and production planning.
• Participate in requirement workshops, document specifications, and translate business needs into system configurations.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and provide recommendations on standard SAP functions vs. custom development.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios, troubleshoot functional issues, and coordinate with technical teams for WRICEF development.
• Support cutover planning, data migration validation, and post-go-live stabilization for SCM processes.
• Collaborate with the SCM Architect and cross-functional teams to ensure integrated, consistent solutions.
• Provide functional guidance, training, and support to end users and junior team members.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP SCM functionalities and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in SCM processes.

This role is critical in translating solution designs into practical configurations, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules. The expert will collaborate closely with the SCM Architect and various business teams, providing functional guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

• Good understanding of integration points with SD, FI/CO, QM, and PM modules.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience working directly with business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and experience in onshore-offshore delivery models.
• SAP S/4HANA certification in Sourcing & Procurement, Manufacturing, or EWM is an advantage.
• Exposure to SAP IBP/APO or advanced planning tools is desirable.
• Experience supporting US or EU business units is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
