Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP Test Lead to drive test management and automation for a large SAP transformation program in Noida/remote India.

You will lead planning, execution, and quality assurance across SAP workstreams, leveraging SAP Cloud ALM and Tosca to raise test coverage and efficiency. The role requires 5+ years in SAP testing, strong SDLC and SAP Activate knowledge, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP testing and quality management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM Test Management.
• Strong experience with Tricentis Tosca Test Automation including test case design and maintenance.
• Experience leading testing activities for SAP projects (ERP, S/4HANA, Finance, SCM, etc.).
• Understanding of SDLC and SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience managing defects and test execution across project phases.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall test management function for SAP projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
• Configure and administer SAP Cloud ALM Test Management capabilities, including test repositories, plans, execution cycles, defect tracking and reporting.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, scenarios, and test cases covering end-to-end processes.
• Drive risk-based and requirements-based testing approaches with full process coverage.
• Implement and expand Tosca test automation frameworks for SAP and non-SAP apps.
• Identify automation candidates and increase automated test coverage to improve efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, Regression, Smoke, and Cutover Validation activities.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements, processes, test cases, defects, and validation deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, consultants, developers, and PMs to resolve defects and improve quality.
• Develop testing metrics, dashboards, and status reports for project leadership.
• Support release management and deployment readiness assessments.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to testing teams on SAP Cloud ALM and Tosca best practices.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Management & Automation Lead with expertise in Test Management, SAP Cloud ALM Test Management, and Tricentis Tosca Test Automation to support a large-scale SAP implementation and transformation program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading test planning, test execution, test automation initiatives, and quality assurance activities across multiple SAP workstreams.

• Lead the overall test management function for SAP projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, and project managers to resolve defects and improve solution quality.
• Develop testing metrics, dashboards, and status reports for project leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP testing and quality management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM Test Management.
• Strong experience with Tricentis Tosca Test Automation including test case design, execution lists, test data management, and automation maintenance.
• Experience leading testing activities for SAP projects, including ERP, S/4HANA, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, or related modules.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience managing defects and test execution across multiple project phases.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or transformations.
• SAP Cloud ALM certification or practical implementation experience.
• Tricentis Tosca certification.
• Experience integrating SAP Cloud ALM with other testing and project management tools.
• Knowledge of GxP, validation, or regulated-industry testing practices is a plus.
